一. 缺陷：•缺陷(flaw)是程序中的错误,或是程序的安装方法中的错误. 并不是所有的缺陷都与安全性有关. •安全性漏洞(vulnerability)就是一个缺陷,它使程序有可能无法满足其安全性需求. •漏洞利用(exloit)是一个揭示或利用安全性漏洞的程序.
二. 瑕疵：实际这个问题属于协议的设计缺陷,所以当发现者公布这个问题时,他们没有使用漏洞(Vulnerability)这个词,而是使用了瑕疵(Flaw).
三. 疵：纤维强而脆,只要有一点小小的刮伤或者内部有瑕疵(flaw),就很容易造成纤维的断裂. 这种特性使得纤维不易达到其理论上的强度. 如同高分子复合材料一样,金属基复合材料的性质亦由强化材料及基地材料之特性所决定.
